On the Qcodo homepage, the two things that i would think are huge drawcards are:
1) The Code Generator images, with the DB design on the left and the very pretty generated code on the right
2) The images related to "brining order to the madness"
This at a glance, tells you what QCubed is about. For me, when i first visited QCodo, these two images told me straight away that this is a framework that i want to get involved in, without having to read anything.
Can we not use something similar on QCubed or would we be stepping on Mike Ho's toes?

One of the aims of QCubed is to grow the community and i think these two simple additions will convince a lot of PHP devs that QCubed is awesome. Currently there is a lot of content on the homepage that isn't nearly as descriptive as a few images would be!

So you will create a new fancy images or something like a flash animation?

can do...won't be flash, but i can create images. I just wanted to know if that will be a waste of time. But if you agree to the idea, i don't mind creating images. Let me know
Sounds great. Worst case, I expect this kind of thing in the wiki. But hopefully it'll find a place on the homepage too. :)
Here are my two cents about the layout of our start page and possible simple optimizations...
- Top menu link for "Screencast" and list screencasts there
- Top menu link for "Api"
- Shorten the welcome message -> show a link for greater detail of QCubed target/vision
- latest top news should go top ... startpage now shows latest news only when scrolling down a lot
And some wish for a good fairy ... a floating layout ;)
Good news: Scottux and a few other folks have been working on modernizing our homepage. Expect news in the next week or so :-)
Now that made me very curious ... can't await to see it :)
