threaded forum posts
Am I not seeing it, or is there really no way for me to switch the forum posts to a threaded view (as opposed to the default flat).
I think this would be a welcome feature if it's not too much trouble (something I always missed in qcodo's forums). Also without the threaded view, the "reply" buttons on each posts kinda loose their meaning, and become confusing: should I just reply to the last post, or the post I actually wonna reply to?
Even if the feature can't be customized on a per user basis, how about a poll to see if more people would like to make threaded the default?

While I like threading, most people seem to misunderstand it and misuse it, and you end up with ridiculously nested conversations that no longer render nicely on a limited width display.
Unfortunately, for that reason, nesting is usually a bad idea from a usability standpoint.
Without threading, it's pretty hard to point to what you're replying to. Quoting is one option, but these forums don't provide an easy way of quoting either (similar to qcodo). So the result is that within a reply the context is lost, which forces you to read the entire thread every time just to understand the last reply.
Basically the current way, where each post has a reply button, but no threaded view is possible and no easy way of quoting is possible, is a combination of the worst of all worlds. Something should be done...
