qcubed funding

It would be great if there was a way to donate money to the qcubed project. Something like a fund where everybody who thinks it's worth it can donate money into. That money could then be used to pay for hosting, domain names and maybe even to get some features done which otherwise would never make it into qcubed.
Also it would be a nice way for people who don't really have time or the knowledge to contribute to this project by other means than money donations.

Fantastic idea. I'd put the "donate" button right at the top of the sidebar of every page of the site.

I like it as well. I think any money received should first and foremost be earmarked for use on expenses. But if over time there does build up a surplus, then it may be worth "hiring" someone to work on an oft-requested feature that has proved too elusive for the core contributers to tackle yet.

It's been only a week, and two generous people already donated some money to the project! Thanks so much!
Haven't been around for a while but at least this is a way we can contribute.
