This is a great suggestion.
To my knowledge filling Datagrids from an Array = Reports was one of the FAQs.
Also this would be much lighter compared to applying functions to each cell to manipulate the content from the database before display.

I know this is a little off topic, but what is with QFilteredDataGrid? I see ticket has been in QA for 3 months, even though VexedPanda implemented it. QFilteredDataGrid could really help developers to easily create forms from which end users could get data they really need.

I think it's ready for production, but without anyone else doing testing to verify, I'm not comfortable commiting it to core.

Our proceedure is that nothing gets commited until we feel it's safe to roll out. You can download the patch and apply it to your local working folder for testing.

Well if you use a IDE like Eclipse PDT or Netbeans or even with tortoise svn could you use the apply patch function.

Also if you are a Unix guy could you use the patch command.
