I can't find a post regarding this, so it came as a surprise when I logged in today and saw a different theme applied...

That said, it mostly looks good!

The only complaint I have is that in the forums, and a few other places, we end up with black text on mid-dark grey background. This low contrast really makes things harder to read, and I'd like to see them changed to a background similar to that on the sidebar, or lighter.

Oops, looks like API docs have vanished in this theme too. That's not good.

I applied the new theme. I intentionally removed the API docs (http://qcu.be/doc/api/hierarchy.html) from the main navigation - they are far from ready for prime time. We want the site to be appealing to brand-new folks who have never heard of QCubed, and the current state of the API docs does not induce confidence in the framework. When they're complete, we can put the link back.

What do I mean by complete:
- There is a process by which we populate the API docs from the latest bits
- The docs look good visually

On changing the theme to make things easier to read: Vexed (or anybody else in the core distro group) - I'd be happy to give you direct access to the theme on the server so you can edit it yourself.

Heh, unfortunately I'm not familiar with druapl themes. Basically, I'd just like to see the same CSS as used for this reply box used for the rest of the thread. :P

The new template looks very clean. Good job!

edit: Some subpages like http://qcu.be/comments/recent could use some work to make them more readable.
However also good is that we now have a working contact function again :)

I am surprised as well. I have been pretty entrenched in a project and I haven't visited in like a week. I guess I need to get to work finishing up the theme.

Scott - I'd be happy to give you direct access to the theme files if you want it. Ping me if you do.

Please, it looks pretty rough right now.

I had uploaded everything into the svn infrastructure for development. Should we come up with a better way?

I replied to Scott privately. Scott and I will work out a way to iterate on the theme quickly. We will make sure that the end result - and big intermediate milestones - are checked in to the SVN.

Hello Scottux

Thanks for your effort.

My unique complaint is about forums now doesn't title, could you include the title.

Correction is too small and in edition mode is missing.

Regards.

Enzo,

Okay, I got the titles displaying again. Sorry, I don't really understand what you mean by "correction is too small and in edition mode is missing." Could you clarify for me better?

Thanks.
