Folks, to make the forums more useful, we need to at least clean-up the looks a little bit.

More specifically:
- Remove the very tall header that takes up half the screen
- Change the default CSS that shows very tall paragraphs now - it doesn't allow for a meaningful, long thread.
- Remove the pictures from each of the forum posts. That take up too much space.

Agreed. Anyone familiar with Drupal themes?

Hello Guys

My team could help with this theme, just contact us on http://anexusit.com/contact, because I don't know who is the lead for this project.

Best regards

I'd be glad to assist in fixing the drupal theme design for QCubed.

The theme used in our drupal configuration is the "Framework" theme, which can be found at http://drupal.org/project/framework
I have tried to disable the "picture in comments and posts" setting, but pictures remain visible. I'm by no means a drupal expert, so there may be something else needed here.

If any of you want to take a stab at improving the layout, my suggestion would be to take the templates from the framework theme, and rework them to be a bit cleaner as Alex suggested. The changes should not be too big. You can post the newly theme under http://trac.qcu.be/projects/qcubed/ticket/77, after we will evaluate the changes and probably install it and reward you with a line in our "hall of fame" :)

This should be a no brainer for any of you guys :D

Regards,
Kristof

I think that we all get used to this qcubed layout.

Should I close http://trac.qcu.be/projects/qcubed/ticket/77 ?

I don't think we should give up on this. The fact that we (core folks) are used to it doesn't change much.

I still think that the layout is pretty bad and has to be improved. We look simply amateurish comparing to the qcodo.com website. We have to look just as good - we're the contenders here, folks, not the leaders. We need to prove that we're serious.
