I think this would be a great addition to the documentation or wiki at some point in the near future. There seems to be absolutely no documentation on this subject at all other than forum posts on QCodo's website (which aren't of much help in getting started). It would be great for someone to post a tutorial and cover topics such as the differences between templates, overriding template, "subclassing" templates (meaning that both the core and the new versions are merged and used that way), etc.
