Chat (http://qcu.be/content/chat) doesn't work in Chrome. I have version 4.0.249.89 (just updated it)

I cannot reproduce this issue. It works on my Chrome on Windows, 4.1.249.1064.

working for me too on Chrome 5.0.342.7 beta (Ubuntu 9.04 x64)
